Voices of the Past: Quilts and Soddies
Steamboat Springs Community Center
Join the staff from the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum for a walk through history as they share their insights into the pioneer experience of women who homesteaded the American West. The RMQM presenter, in period costume, will reveal the 1880s-1920s womens' experience utilizing the journals of women who lived during this time. Come hear from the diaries of pioneer women and see the beautiful textile creations that were made in their humble sod homes. $3 suggested donation
