Engaging and interactive exhibits feature our local and regional American Western history:
The heart of the museum is a 1901 Queen Anne-style Victorian home with turn-of-the-century furnishings. Explore exhibits that tell the local story of Native Americans, the history of skiing, agriculture, mining, pioneer settlement, town development, and much more! View this list of all our current
featured exhibits. In addition, our
Western Heritage Exhibit, home of an extensive firearms collection, traces our agricultural history and the story of an infamous outlaw, Harry Tracy. Soar into the history of skiing in our
Ski Town U.S.A. exhibit, and learn why Steamboat is home to more Olympic athletes than any other town in the nation.
